ok, most of us knew jay cutler was not tom brady or peyton manning. he's obviously forcing things this year because of the pressure on him to be the savior.

he's still a 'good' qb, he's just not a savior. he's comparable to guys like schaub, romo, and rivers. he just doesn't have as much talent around him on offense so he's having to force some things right now.

 

Having Ron Turner for OC doesn't help either. :icon_frown:

 

yes, i don't care for turner either and i also didn't understand going into this season with the receiving corps they had. between turner and a lack of receivers, running game, and o-line, cutler is trying to thread the needle on many passes because guys are getting double covered or are having trouble getting separation in single coverage.

 

Nothing like putting a previously immature QB under this kind of duress. He's been handling himself much better since he got to Chicago but for how long???
