so true. what a horrible horrible horrible game. This one will go down as one of the worst games in Monday Night history.
FLUCK YOU FLACCO, I needed 23 points for you to help me win this fantasy game I am in, but all I got was 16
Agreed, offensive play calling is atrocious. But, throw it to who? Only reason not to open it up is if you can't. 3.4 yards gets you a 1st, but not when the defense knows that's all you are trying to do. The offense is unwatchable. The Ravens didn't wake up. They had 2 TD's gift wrapped. If you're a Ravens fan, you can't be happy about this game. Should have been 3-0 (maybe 6-0 if they had a kicker) Thought the same thing about the Chefs. See you on 12/20. Top 5 defenses in time spent on the field. 1. Cle 2. Buf 3. Oak 4. Ten 5. St.L Defense did look good tonight though. (When they put all 11 guys out there) Never heard that before. Word. If you need Joe Flacco to get you 23 points and you don't get points for Ravens fans snitching about the refs, you have a messed up scoring system or you are bad at fantasy football. Seriously, Ravens fans aren't allowed to snitch about the refs any more. People still asking Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson are asking the wrong question. The correct question is when is draft day? Nice to see it was still loud before it was empty. Congrats on the win Ravens fans. :happydrunks:
at the time it looked like they finally woke up. you can't claim they had those two gift wrapped, Flacco played it smart no huddle gets teams off guard and it proved it right then and there. that was no luck that was just knowing what to do, and when to do it. as far as that Pick 6 well, the Ravens Defense is good. don't take credit away from them now just so you can blame your boys for being crappy so bad I'm 7-2 well now 7-3 and in first place? (ok normally I am bad but flacco over the browns defense should have been a sure thing. but it proved otherwise
I get the "at the time" part. I wasn't calling you out, just using your quote to point out that Ravens fans can't be happy about the game. As far as gift wrapped TD's, a Brandon McDonald missed tackle (well missed everything) set up the 1st one. On the TD play that followed, we had time outs and should have used one if the defense was confused. That's probably a result of Jackson and Barton both being hurt. If you think the pick-6 happened because the Ravens defense is good, you must work for ESPN. Either Quinn thought Royal was turning out or Quinn made a bad throw as Royal turned around, but it had nothing to do with the Ravens defense being good. It looked like a miscommunication. We have a lot of those. I'm not saying the Ravens D isn't good, I'm just saying that TD was a gift. I lost on Hines Ward's worthless late TD last week and Roy Williiams' worthless late TD this week. I had Welker and Dallas Clark in last night's game. 9 TD's and I can't get one of them. Oh and Go Browns.
I loved how the game started out with Chucky all over Quinn's jock, then at the end he was telling him that he has to throw the football between the sidelines to give his receivers a chance.
Thanks to the Ravens Defense for getting me 31 fantasy points and helping me beat the guy who had a 28.5 point lead on me going into Monday night. They were my only hope, too. :icon_cheesygrin:
