Ravens LB Ray Lewis was angered by a controversial block Browns QB Brady Quinn delivered that knocked Baltimore LB Terrell Suggs out of Monday's game. Quinn hit Suggs low after throwing an interception in the second half of the Browns' 16-0 loss. "That's an illegal blow," Lewis said, via the AP. "I don't care how you want to look at it." Suggs left the game with a right knee injury, and Lewis was looking for the league to discipline Quinn. "When you're running down and you're looking at the quarterback going at somebody's knees who doesn't even have the ball," Lewis said. "I want to see if he gets the same fine I got or even higher. Now this man is out four or five weeks because of some baloney like that." Source: USA Today
This was as cheap a shot as Bret Favre's was a few weeks ago so if you thought that one was then you'll think this one is also. IMHO, I think QBs don't know how to tackle. They never practice it, they never work on it and I'll bet they never even think about it. It was still a penalty and shouldn't have happened the way it did but I don't think either one was a cheap shot. I believe Brady's may have been in part out of frustration but not a cheap shot.
come ray didn't he just say football players needed flags put on them for tackling sure sucks when it's u huh
I didn't see the play but it sounds like Suggs was out of the play and Quinn went low and took his knees out. Ray Ray is just saying he's curious if Quinn being a QB will receive the Fed-Ex from Roger. Quite frankly I'm curious too.
That's odd, I searched for Browns Ravens Highlights and didn't get any results, but I typed lowlights and got crap load of videos :icon_cheesygrin: @ about 1:50, 40 yd line on the run back. What was he doing? Trying to make a tackle, or was he trying to take out a potential blocker? Did he just puss out and take a dive (at someones, Suggs' knees)? Screw Quinn, freaking loser.
