The Lions have more than 7,000 tickets remaining for Sunday's home game against the Cleveland Browns, the team said Wednesday. The Lions have until 1 p.m. Thursday to reach a sellout to avoid a local television blackout for a matchup of 1-8 teams. Seven of the team's last nine home games at Ford Field have been blacked out, including two this season -- Washington on Sept. 27 and St. Louis on Nov. 1. Source: The Detroit News
exactly. detroit has 50% unemployment and they are STILL selling more tickets than jacksonville. :icon_rolleyes: detroit has very good nfl fans and for that matter they support the rest of their sports teams well also. they're just struggling right now.
very true but with Cleveland being so close to Detroit, this one just might make the cut, my money is on me being able to watch the game on TV this week!!
I hope it does get blacked out because who the hell would want to watch those crapty teams in Michigan anyway?
