The Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field on Thursday 11/26/09. Kickoff time is 12:30 pm EST Discuss….
No Stafford and no megatron = boring blowout by the Packers. I hope I'm wrong, but I think this one is going to get ugly, fast.
same thing without stafford and megatron no way lions win with stafford and megatron i dont think either :icon_cheesygrin:
Lions always seem to give everyone a game on thanksgiving....... its our long running tradition and for the past few years we have had a decent or not so decent team but managed to win the Thanksgiving game. I think the lions will surprise everyone come Thursday.
I am gonna go against the pack and say ....lions might have a chance if they can pull themselves together. Blowout....I doubt it will be something tragic but if they play like they did before this last game..well it will be ugly one way or another.
Packers tho with Harris & Kampman out & Woodson hobbled, Culpepper may just be able to find some seams here & there to make it a little interesting. Also Ahman Green & Barbre look unlikely so this could be a great chance for the Lions to sneak out with one. & thank you from Lion fans, 127, for mentioning Sanders. It may be the only thought going into this game that may dull the pain...
Lions played a better game period with Sanders, unfortunitly when Wayne Fonce retired the new coach forced Sanders to early retirement. There was hope for a while that Sanders would return when the new coach was fired but the damage was done. I wanted to freaking stab that coach that threatened to trade Sanders even though he was a good player and never made any trouble.......... Forced him to early retirment......
Green Bay lost 2 of their key defensive players for the season last week, luckily they have this week to try out some new things as they won't be in any immediate danger. 24-13 GB
