The ones that come to my mind are Tony Gonzalez, Calvin Johnson, Thomas Jones, somebody from the Bengals, and Matt Schaub.

Only ones who I think should make it from that list are Gonzalez and Johnson.

    Thoughts?

EDIT: This is just a horrible day for my brain. Playoff snubs? WOW.

Do you mean Pro Bowl snubs?

Cuz I'm pretty sure players don't get to just go to the playoffs by themselves.

    86WARD -

Brent Celek is a snub. He's been one of the best TE's in the league this season. He's been better than Witten.

Cases could be made for Matt Schaub, Ben Roethlisberger.

Steve Smith from the Giants. Cedric Benson...

    There's a lot...

Yeah, I agree with most of the ones mentioned, but if you think about it, it would be a bigger snub to have Rice, MJD, or Chris Johnson replaced by Benson, who hasn't played the whole year. Also, he's not as good of an all-around player and pass-catcher as well. Thomas Jones I think could have made it. Close call with him and Rice.

Tony Romo a probowl snub and Mike Jenkins......Mike Jenkins has played at a probowl level compared to other corners in the league.

Ive been calling bullcrap on this all over the place

Celek is a very good TE, but he isnt in Wittens class as an overall player.

Celek over Witten is a pure FF observation, and even thats very debateable.

    **********Automerged Doublepost**********

    Neither were snubs

Retards are running rampant around here these days.

Witten's first 3 years in the NFL
    2084 Yards, 188 Catches, 13 TD's

Celek's first 3 years in the NFL
    1371 Yards, 112 Catches, 10 TD's

Not even comparable, and now you wanna say Celek is better than Jason Witten who has been consistently putting up big numbers year and year out since his second season in the NFL. Witten isn't flashy but he gets the job done, from a Cowboys fans perspective this was a down year for Witten because he took some penalties, wasn't the go to guy, and didn't get into the endzone. But he wasn't targeted in the redzone so how can you fault the guy for his lack of touchdowns. I'm not going to speak much more on this subject and i'll probably copy and paste this into that other stupid pro bowl thread. I don't give a flying heck about pro bowls and pro bowl selections.
