I hear ya, Joe. It wouldn't surprise me if the game is decided on one of the QBs extending a play with elusiveness and hitting a WR deep. I wish the game was being played tonight. This is NFC East football excitement at a fever pitch. Outside of playing for the #1 seed, this is as good as it gets.
I can see Carolina beating Minny for sure, cause they've hit the wall but I don't imagine Green Bay is going to lose to Arizona. Ah crap got my games confused, it's giants beating Minny? iunno it could happen wouldn't be the biggest upset in the world.
With the record this team has had in the past I think it might be best if Dallas does not get the bye week. I would be happy with the #3 spot.
More to play for? That makes sense consider the division is in line for both of us. Better team? Get out of your homer phase. idk.. let's ask the Saints, Cardinals, and Patriots.... I understand being all googly and gaggly for your team, they're playing great right now. And of course you're going to downplay how good this game could be, and how good the Cowboys are.. because you hate us. I hate the Eagles just as much as you do the Cowboys.. but by no means, am I saying this game is going to be over by us beating y'all 44-6. As much as every Eagle fan can say the Cowboys and Tony Romo is choke artists.. Dallas fans can say the Eagles and Mcnabb are choke artists, the only difference is.. Mcnabb in his sixth year made the super bowl and had a chance to be successful, Tony and Dallas hasn't had that chance. All in all.. these are two very good teams, this is made up as far as a good game as it could be, if Carolina wouldnt have beat NYG last week, Dallas could have had it all on the line to play for.. anywhere from Being out of the playoffs, to being a 6 seed, to a first round bye. Ridiculous. I'm going with Dallas, of course.. i hope its a helluva game, and I always say it.. but i regret asking for it... I just want it to be a close butt game that comes down to the last second, to where it feels like i'm going to have a heart attack and my heart cannot take another single minute of football. I hate that feeling so much that I love it. Dallas wins, 31-30.
Pay attention Inc....The more to play for is for the second seed and the parenthetical most likely was an acknowledgment that if the Vikings and the Cards also crap the bed the cowturds can get it too. Untwist your panties....the eagles are a better team. No homer and no doubt. Doesn't mean the cowboys are a bad team just that the eagles are better....and as we saw the last time they met it's close enough that with a little luck / officiating assistance the Cowboys could still win.
You are that guy In phigles world the Cowboys will never be able to beat Philadelphia without luck and officiating. Since 2005 this series has been split down the middle. Some games close, some games beatdowns, but I bet every time Dallas won was either because of luck or officiaiting. Dallas won the last game because Sheldon Brown bit on a double move for a 50 yard TD Dallas won the last game because Jackson and Maclin were held to 5 catches for 70 yards But in your mind Dallas one the game because Philadelphia didnt get a spot
I said after the game that i wouldent use officiating as an excuse i think mcnabb did make that spot but there was bad calls on both sides. It was a very crapty officiating game. Sheldon shouldent have let up that TD period.
Exactly......if I wanted to use officiating as an excuse I could probobly chalk up 2 more wins for Dallas. Its part of the game The game was won because we won a couple key matchups.........matchups we can just as easily lose any given game between these two teams
Our oline needs to play great this game dallas has alot of dangerous pass rushers. Last time we played mcnabb did not look comfortable at all. It blows that jamal jackson went out cause nick cole did a great job creating holes on that side of the line. Hopefully peters can contain ware like he did last time.
Ratliff is the guy you have to worry about With Jackson out, McNabb is gonna have a hard time stepping up in the pocket, unless they take Westbrook or Weaver out of the passing game to help
I could see westbrook helping out he is a good blocker plus he hasent really been doing much with his carries. Imo weaver needs to continue to carry the ball. Westbrook will have a couple plays but i dont think we will see him getting the bulk of the carries this year atleast. Some good news the whole team practiced there is no one on the injury report
lol i'll untwist my panties, idc.. but one thing that is known, if/when the cowboys lose.. i'm always here, don't disappear after an Oakland victory over my team... penalties must have gave the raiders a bit of luck in that win. Just know that everything you say, is straight homer. If you think Eagles are that much of a better team, you're smoking something.. cause all in all, the talent for each team is very equal.
