Clerks was an excellent movie

Clerks 2 was a giant pile of crap.

 

It Might Get Loud with Jimmy Page, The Edge, & Jack White. Excellent get together with interesting convos/playing.

Facing Ali - Loved hearing from all the fighters who got in the ring with him.

 

In comparison yes..... on it's own merrits it was ehhh. I laughed enough to make it worth watching.

 

The Perfect Getaway - only thing good about it was the twist

 

What about the acting? or the story? I thought it was a pretty good movie.

 

I liked the movie but the twist was the best part. This isn't kind of movie I would watch several times though.

 

I thought Zahn was pretty hecked up character the twist was great. But yeah it isn't the type of movie you can watch multiple times because you know whats going to happen.

Watched a few good movies over the past few days...

The Lovely Bones- 8/10
Whip It- 9/10
Up In The Air- 9/10

I liked Whip It I thought it was a good movie and easy watch. Ellen Page is a fantastic young actress and of course my favorite Kristen Wiig was in this and she was good as well, not many laughs in this movie if your looking for a laugh out loud type film this isn't it. The great Daniel Stern is in it as well, you may not even notice him cause he hasn't done many films over the past little while. Also worth noting the story takes place in Texas..

Up In The Air, I thought was a great movie. I didn't watch any trailers for this so I wasn't sure what to expect but yeah it was a good watch and one of clooneys best roles in a few years. He delivers some great quotes. And that Vera Farmiga has a delightful body lol.

 

to be honest the only thing I found funny was the Jay and bob characters

other then that it didn't seem that funny or live up to the hype I heard about it :|

not to mention the poor creation of the movie :\

The Friday the 13th Remake Killer Cut dvd I just bought for 5 bucks

 

Kevin Smith was totally independent when he filmed that movie. It was obviously super low budget, but that doesnt take away from it being an awsome movie

 

thought as much so I guess I can give him some slack to the creation of the movie, but I didn't find the humor in it. not saying that they were bad just not my type of humor I guess.

when I said horrible only meaning that it didn't live up to the hype at least for me

One Night At McCool's- 10/10

I love you beth cooper was more stupid than funny but it was okay I suppose...

One night at McCool's was a great movie, it had some good laughs and I loved the story and how it all came together nicely. The shootout scene was awesome and what happened to paul reisers character was just too freaking funny.

Liv Tyler! nuff said.

 

this would be the first time I heard this movie sucked, I watched it and I loved it

 

I rented 'Taking of Pelham 123' .... well worth the watch!

 

Barton Fink was kinda weird, even for the Cohen brothers.

Miller's Crossing is awesome!

 

I know this has been out for awhile, but I just rented Tropic Thunder - what a hilarious movie - LOVED it! Tom Cruise was brilliant, as was Robert Downey Jr.

 

That was a good movie Sue!

I finally watched Up.

It was average.

 

My daughter saw Up and loved it, but she's 7, so....lol

Took her recently to see Princess & the Frog and we both loved it. Two thumbs up!!
