I think the Cardinals are just a different team in the playoffs, I doubted them last season like all of all throughout the playoffs, I won't make that mistake again. I picked them to beat the Packers and 96 points later they did, now I'm picking them to beat the Saints.

again, i say it every week about this team, but it depends on how the cards defense decides to play. they are the most jekyll and hyde unit ever and they will need to be on their 'A' game for at least most of this contest to win.

With how the Packers D just got torched by the Cardinals, I wouldn't be shocked to see the Saints D get torched as well.

The way the Cardinals D played today, there's no way they'll beat the Saints. Breesus will eat them alive.

but, wait a minute. if the cards D plays the entire game like they did in the first half today, they WILL win without a question. the problem with them is that sometimes they only play well for 1 quarter or 1 half but sometimes they can also put together an entire game. that's what will determine the winner of this one. will the cards defense show up at all and, if so, for how long?

Another game I'm not going to venture a guess at, but I'm leaning toward the Cards.

I'm picking the Cards just so you'll shut up about Breesus. :icon_frown:

Cardinals. But I'm really wary of this pick. The Cardinals are known to get complacent and back off, resulting in them getting blown out or comebacked on. If they come out with something to prove every game (like a playoff team....or any team should) they can find themselves hoisting the Lombardi trophy in February.

The Saints haven't played well in over a month you just can't turn it on in the playoffs, either you have it or you dont take Cardinals in an upset.

I am undecided, maybe I will decide when the time comes. I like both teams....... most likely will go for cards.....

I would like to see cards vs Chargers in the SB but it all depends how the Saints play.... will they show up and be the bad asses they were in the begining of the season, or will they play like they did against tampa?

    oh the decisions.

I like and want the Cards here. I know yesterday didn't show it, but I feel like the Cards have the better D and that will be the difference.

It all depends on if the Saints D decides to show up and play.... if they dont then its cards game with little effort. Saints offence will put up the numbers but if the Saints D cant hold cards O the game will be over.

the saints D is actually pretty consistent. they just aren't that great unless they can force some turnovers. they live and die by the turnover. the saints D has been giving up 400 yards a game for the last couple of months. that's not very good.

having said that, the cardinals can sometimes turn the ball over in bunches. so, it wouldn't shock me if this was a 6-turnover blowout sort of situation. however, if the cardinals are careful with the ball and avoid the turnovers, the game is actually going to be decided by whichever Cards defense shows up because they are actually the jekyll and hyde defense in this game.
