Because Michael Vick remains under contract with Philadelphia, Rams general manager Billy Devaney can't speak publicly on the topic but Devaney has consistently said the team will explore all options to improve the club. He has made it a point in interviews to note that the "four pillars" approach is being softened this offseason. In other words, the Rams are more likely to take a chance on a so-called "character-risk" player than last year at this time.

I would even go so far as to say Pac Man would be a better risk

I think Vick has a place in the NFL, but IMO thats not as a starting QB for a rebuilding team

They should take chances, they really have to start winning and winning soon. They are faced with the serious threat of being relocated to another city. However, I do not believe it will end up being the Rams that get moved.

I can't believe anyone mentioned Pac Man. Dude couldn't even play decent on this same Cowboys team that has a great pass rush. Pac Man was just raw talent. He never had great technique and form. He got by with natural abilities in his first two seasons. After all the weed smoke, the syrup, and the chaos, the guy became a less than average player and he's still a wild animal.

Vick is a waste of time. There are several back ups that are better than Vick and they don't carry the baggage either.

The Rams may be able to take a few chances, but take a few chances on guys that are worth it and can produce. Not NFL "has beens."

Pac Man was probobly our best CB in 2008, had a 6.5 YPA after not playing for a year. He was one of the NFL's best Man coverage CB's in 2006 before he got suspended, so I dont see how he is "raw talent". Your describing Deangleo Hall. For all his bullcrap, Pac Man was a rounded CB and a legit #1 CB in terms of production

Marshall would be a better risk than Vick, but wouldnt you need a QB to get him the ball
