Yes, Favre is 2-9 against Dallas. Very good line. He grew up a Cowboys fan. So I would say it's a mental thing to him? I'm not sure. The thing I see about the 2-9 is that the 2 wins, were when he was at home. He's at home. The 9 losses... Bad stat, but.. He's never had this great of a RB to be handing it off too, and he's never had this good of a front 7 on defense.. to rely on. I do know we will see a lot of magic in this game, and should be very exciting. Favre has never played a down to the wire game against dallas... this could be the first. No way I say that Dallas loses, because that ain't me. I did it one time this season, and they shut me the hell up [Saints game]. Dallas 28-24.
Cowboys are a good team, Although I like the Vikes at home. The Vikes are the real deal I understand that any team can be beat on any day. The Cowboys couldn't stop the the Green Bay Packers and the Vikes beat them "twice" this year. Vikes: 35 Cowboys: 21
many in the media and the general nfl fan population are picking the cowboys. however, vegas still has the vikings as a significant favorite. this game is so difficult for me to handicap because both teams are complete on both sides of the ball so i can't give a certain physical match-up edge anywhere. it's going to be won mentally and strategically.
Uggh, I hate being that guy. I'm probably the only Dallas fan here who believes the Vikings will win this game. I am never comfortable when we're talked about as the "hot" team. This is the playoffs, every team playing now is hot. Minnesota will not play 1 dimensional like Philly did. I think Shancoe will be utilized heavily and Minnesota will have draws set up for AD and Taylor against our outside pressure. I'm also very worried about the noise in that dome with our OL especially when (insert name here) will be trying to drop back quick enough to block Jared Allen. We'll see how the game goes, but needless to say I'm not that confident (not confident at all actually).
You haven't been confident all season and picked the Cowboys to lose every week. I think it's working. Keep it up :icon_cheesygrin:
I think this game defensively for the most part is on Spencer. They key will be getting a rush on Farve without constant blitz's, which Farve will eat up. The Viking's are gonna give McKinny help on Ware. Spencer has to get consistant pressure against Loadholdt to keep us from having to blitz consistatnly. AD scares me, this could be a game we miss havimng a Roy Williams at SS On the other side two things I see as key in the passing game. Adams VS Allen. If Adams wins that matchup we should be able to pass at will. And how Frasier scheme's Witten, Minnesota's LB and Safety corps could have a very long day with Witten. Our OL with Gurode and Davis presents a strong matchup with the Williams brothers. the biggest thing working inDall's favor is that Gurode is at his best against big DT's. If we win those matchup's, Minnesotta's LB's will have a long day chasing Jones down
Let me tell you guys something...The team that scores the most points will win, because you need to score points if you want to win in the National Football League. ...there. Should I send my resume to ESPN or something? :icon_cheesygrin:
