Whith all the speculation, I just wanted to get a consensus of whether or not they should trade Mcnabb

"Will or wont" is not the question here

Im saying yes. IMO Trade McNabb and turning over the reigns to Kolb is one step back, two steps forward. He is the future and needs to buold a rapport with Maclin/Jackson/Celek

I say no. Let Kolb compete for the job next year, and if McNabb loses the job or gets hurt, then Kolb can come in.

Im actually gonna say yes to this one. Mcnabb is one of my top favorite players but we need to build for the future and kolb is gonna be the future. The guy is gonna have to play some time. Hes 26 years old and has many years left in the leauge. Mcnabb maybe 2 or 3 i dont think we are a superbowl team anymore so if he stayed it would just be 2 3 years of putting off kolbs time to grow as a qb.

I Say "YES" and I agree with you " Ball in the Basket". Mcnabb is a great QB. and has done alot for the Eagles but the Big picture is that Mcnabb is not the Future of the Eagles. The Eagles should trade Mcnabb for some good draft picks and rebuild for the Future.

Unless hey get blown away in a trade I would say no. Let Kolb and McNabb battle for the starting job.

If mcnabb stays there is no battle imo. If mcnabb dident get the starting job i have a feeling there would be a big scene.

Well when I say blown away I mean offered a 2nd round pick and more. Because I don't see anyone giving more than that for a 33 y/o QB who is notorious for blowing it in the big game.

I could see a 1st for mcnabb some teams need a qb bad i could see the rams or 49ers giving up a 1st rounder. maybe mcnabb and something else but i think we could get a 1.

The Rams have the top overall pick........lol

ill say yes...mcnabb is a great QB but a fresh start might show that more than ever....eagles are a good team, a very well run team but the mcnabb experiement has run its course....every year theres just an unfair amount of pressure on him and him alone

IMO the only spot a first would be justified is Minnesota if Farve retires.

If you are giving up a first for McNabb, its to get into the Super Bowl THAT year and the next

thats a legitimate place he could end up too with the childress connection....i think with a real running game and a vertical passing game ALSO he could do big things there

Hey where was all this coming from i literally have never heard you say anything good about the eagles ever lol.

I would love to see him go to the vikings and win a superbowl i would be happy for him the guy deserves it.

I'd say no.... he has been such a major part of the Eagles' successes and still has a lot to offer, IMO

    SoDev Don't tase me, bro!

Yes, only because I'm a hater of all things Eagles fan (in a respectful division rival sort of way :gotcha:). McNabb being gone would make me happier than a crap eating possum.

Eagles need to decide soon now because his trade value is dropping every year going forward.

If I'm the Eagles I keep him for at least one more year (the end of his current contract).

They've tried and failed miserably for the past 10+ years. Time for a fresh start, IMO.

thats a little to far lol they dident fail misereably not many teams have atleast been to as many nfc championship games as the eagles.

Sigh...losing in the Play-offs, losing in the NFCCG, and losing in the Super Bowl, is still failing...Failing for a decade makes it miserable.
