Brett Favre Says He Won't Make A Decision On Retirement Just Yet

A wounded and crestfallen Brett Favre said late Sunday that it's too early to say if he'll return for a 20th NFL season after his Vikings lost 31-28 in overtime to the Saints in the NFC championship game. Favre said it will not be "months" before he makes a decision on whether to play again. "I know people are rolling their eyes or will roll their eyes," he said. "In a situation like this, I really don't want to make a decision right now based solely on what happened (Sunday)." Favre's last pass was an interception with seven seconds left in regulation that doomed the Vikings' chances as girding for a potential game-winning field goal attempt. "I really enjoy the guys," Favre said. "I just wonder if I can hold up, especially after a day like today. Physically and emotionally, that was pretty draining. I am gong to go home and talk it over with the family."

    This.

Dead honest, I was impressed with Favre's toughness last night, man. Everything aside, there's no questioning that dude is one tough motherhecker.

I don't even care anymore. His decision won't be final until September anyway. :icon_rolleyes:

His decision would never be an issue if people wouldn't ask the damn question. Crap, give hime time to relax and think and talk to his family before freaking asking this damn question.

Yeah Favre can sure take a beating specially last night. The one thing i loved is he never snitched to the refs about a flag like BRADY does all the time(whining little b*tch). So i do admire his toughness but where did his O-line for the vikings go cause they were sure missing the whole time to an average Saints D-line

Ain't that the truth. And he had every reason to snitch when he got hit high and low and damn nearwhen he threw the first pick. Never complained.
