Lions To Make A Play For Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams?

Discussion in 'Detroit Lions' started by BigBlueBruiser, Feb 16, 2010.

  1. Lions beat writer Tom Kowalski expects the team to show interest in Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams this offseason. Kowalski suggests offering the team's second-round pick (No. 34) overall. The Panthers might take such an offer more seriously if running back Jonathan Stewart wasn't recovering from Achilles' surgery.

    K Train Do You Honeycutt?

panthers arent expected to resign him so what not? he would be a perfect fit in detroit....they could be making a saints-like push into relevancy by completing the high power offense with a good RB and focusing on the defense

Their second round pick is #34 so it really is almost a 1st round pick. IMO it would be a great trade for the Lions.

I'm pretty sure the Panthers could get a lot more than just high 2nd round pick for Williams

    SweetShot03 Fuck stupid people

that would be freakin awsome if Lions were able to get Williams........ Lions got a good rookie QB, good WRs, just need to work no the offensive line and definatly work on the defence.

I hope we get him, we might win more then just 2 games next season lol. Cross your fingers for 3... jk..... WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL SNITCHES!!!! lol jk again
