ESPN's John Clayton believes JaMarcus Russell "has the best chance" to get the Raiders' starting quarterback job for 2010. According to Clayton, Hue Jackson was brought in to develop Russell into "the quarterback Al Davis thinks he is." Clayton expects Russell to be given every chance to beat out Bruce Gradkowski who came in and performed well late in the year, leading the team to wins over the Steelers and Bengals down the stretch. :icon_eek: **********Automerged Doublepost********** Al Davis has GOT to be smoking, if he's gonna start Jamarcus Russell next season?? :violent14:
WHY?!? I mean Al Davis is a total idiot with dementia someone needs to send him to a home cause he is making the Raiders the laughing stock of the NLF
What choice does he really have. I mean its kind of like an investment in today's market, You can't take that big of a loss. He has to get as much as he can out of him. If Jackson can help him, look for him to be the new head coach.
It wouldn't be that big of a loss if we cut him this year when there's no CBA. I'd rather cut the fat heck, admit it was a bad pick and move on instead of suffering through Al forcing him into the starting lineup at the teams expense for a few more years. Just look across the bay for a shining example of how that hecks a team.
