ESPN's John Clayton expects Jake Delhomme to be the Panthers' starting quarterback in 2010. Clayton may be going on past history, considering coach John Fox's extreme loyalty to veteran holdovers. Matt Moore will be given a chance to win the job in training camp however.

I wonder what dirt Jake has on Foxy. Moore is by far the better option.

It's because they game him that new contract. They have to much tied up in him.

The contract was their first mistake. Dumping all that money in his lap put the Panthers at a HUGE disadvantage. Moore isn't the answer but being strapped for cash won't allow them to sign or draft another potential franchise QB.

Moore should be given the chance to at LEAST compete with Delhomme for the job

Im not anointing him, but Moore could be the awnser.

It was evident when we had him in camp back in 2007 that he had the tool's to potentially be a starter in the NFL, seemed to me like a very raw version of Romo. Had the requisite arm and was very good at manipulating the pocket. Unfortunatly, we were set on only keeping two active QB's and tried to sneek him on the PS, didnt work
