yeah, not sure what games lord joe was watching but it was very, very noticeable. unfortunately.
Cromartie..? You mean that guy who was afraid to even try to tackle Shonn Greene in the Divisional playoffs game?
I would take this trade in a heart beat. Choice is solid but we can find someone else to back up Felix and who knows what is going on with Barber. Cromartie could use a change and coming to Dallas would do that for him. I also think that this rumor is probably nothing more than a load of B.S.
Its been confirmed that San Diego discussed a possible Cromartie-Choice deal with Dallas but the Cowboys weren't interested.
Same. Dallas already has two Pro Bowl caliber corners in Terence Newman and Mike Jenkins, plus another solid young corner in Orlando Scandrick. Choice is expected to get more carries with Marion Barber nearly on the fringe of being demoted if he doesn't pick it up. It says alot about Cro if San Diego is desperately trying to deal him considering his rare size/speed combination at the CB position.
I would still like to add a top young CB to develop (Pat Robinson?) to push Scan or keep him in the Nickle if and when Newman becomes ineffective. My problem with what this trade would have done is basicly forced us to trade a far superior CB (Newman) to accomidate someone who is basically just younger and more athletic
This would be a GIGANTIC mistake! Trade Marion!!!! We can still get something good for him. When choice gets touches he does work!!! **********Automerged Doublepost********** This would be a GIGANTIC mistake! Trade Marion!!!! We can still get something good for him. When choice gets touches he does work!!!
The problem with Barber would be his contract and that he seems to have peaked. I'd take Choice over Barber too.
From what Ive heard they want to trade Cro because of money. Im taking it they 1- Dont want another contract in return 2- would rather have a fairly proven player with a mid round contract then a first round pick
I do not have a link but the reports I have heard is that the Chargers made the offer to Dallas and Dallas turned it down.
This dude probably doesn't care where he plays so long as he can make max bank. And any team interested is buying a lot of baggage. I mean, 7 children by 6 different woman in 5 states. Now he's $25,000 behind in support payments. Good luck to whoever signs him.
