During a live chat at stltoday.com, beat writer Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post Dispatch suggests the Rams may be interested in trading for Broncos restricted free agent tight end Tony Scheffler. "If they're not, they should be," Thomas said. "For whatever reason Scheffler and McDaniels didn't click, but people I talk to in Denver, say Scheffler isn't a problem player. I think Denver wants to move Scheffler nonetheless, and probably would take less than the second rounder he would fetch with an original tender as a second-round draft pick." Yeah, I remmember the rams making a similar trade. When the traded for Randy McMichael a few years back. How's that worked out for you guys?
Scheffler is a good player, if you give up anything more then a 4th you might as well take one in this draft.
How hard is it for you to research before adding yet another boneheaded statement to your collection? He was brought in by Scott Linehan when he got dumped by Miami, no picks were exchanged. I would actually like to see Tony Scheffler in the Navy and Gold, but I wouldn't want them to lose draft picks for him, even if we always screw up.
Yeah thats right mj. Not sure what made me think they traded for McMichael. Still though an awful pickup his production saw a huge drop off since he became a Ram. As for Scheffler, he's a good player Ram's haven't had a tight end put up numbers in a long time. As for your comment, I don't research crap on Wikipedia but If I did I imagine I'd be nearly as dumb as you.
