Former Oakland Raiders defensive assistant Randy Hanson, who was allegedly assaulted by coach Tom Cable last August, filed a civil lawsuit against both Cable and the team on Tuesday in Alameda County. Hanson's lawsuit contains three causes of action: assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The suit claims the physical altercation with Cable left Hanson with a fractured jaw and broken teeth and also alleges that Cable threatened Hanson by saying repeatedly, "I'll ... kill you."
