Buy/Sell: Matt Leinart Can Lead The Cardinals To A Division Title In 2010

He's gonna struggle this year for sure.

I went "buy". Division is weak. The 49ers are a threat, but they have Alex Smith as of right now.

 

Alex Smith who has played a full year(not saying that makes him better).

 

Sell he just seem like he can't get it done

 

Sell, the Cards defense is losing alot this offseason, they still need OL help and Leinart will take time to get a grove with everyone.

 

I would still call the 49ers the favorite, especially if they add an effective edge rusher.

But Im not one to just write of Leinart. He struggled when he started before Warner, but I think people are too quick to dismiss young QB's sometimes

 

I'll have to sell for right now. Leinart hasn't impressed me so far since he has been a pro.

Changing your teams game plan from what Kurt Warner is able to do, to what Matt Leinart is able to do, is a fairly large task. The first sign of trouble, and Leinart is going to lose what little support he has in that locker room. It should be a blast to watch. Arizona will be lucky to win 5 games in 2010.

Buy, until further notice the Cardinals are the defending division champions and that division hasn't gotten any tougher. They lost alot of talent but there offense can still be high powered and maybe they will get the defense straightened out enough to make some kind of impact. Lienart will have another whole training camp to work with the starting lineup, and an off-season with the mindset that he's the starter. Cardinals winning the NFC West in 2010 is not a stretch of the imagination at all in my mind.

 

The answer is no, plain and simple. An even weaker defense, Boldin shipped to the east coast and Matt's world famous work ethic are all reasojn he will fail...

However...

Unless the 49ers can find someone besides David Carr and Alex Smith to lead their offense, a 7-9 record will win the NFC Worst.

I have no faith in Matt Leinart as an NFL QB.

 

Sell, and if they do get the division title, it won't be because of Leinart.
