Yeah, we don't need another 4-3 DT playing out of position in our 3-4.

    Glad you recognize that.

You are now over-qualified to draft for the Denver Broncos.

i honestly think that line would be sick lol, hes not quite nose tackle size right now but if he was a chief he would dominate was an DT with dorsey playin the UT, and jackson and hali on the ends. why the hell the chiefs are running a 34 right now ill never know

I would love to get Woods in the mid late draft.....5th or so

Him and Troup remind me of Johnny Jolly, guys that could be hybrid type DL in a 3-4. Right size for NT, but athletic enough to play DE

Ever since the Senior Bowl I've wanted him, if Rolando Mcclain is there though, i'll take him.

I personally think you would be better off with Weatherspoon in your 4-3. McClain lacks elite range and long speed to cover over the middle and play sideline to sideline. He's a downhill thumper who would be great as an inside 3-4 guy.

  11. Actually Joe, I was thinking about the possibility of taking Weatherspoon myself after the combine. Only reason I didn't before was because taking him at #15 would've been a reach. But not after the show he put on at the combine.

Hes chiseled, very athletic, has elite speed for the position and strong. He surprised me when he had 34 reps of 225 pounds. He also had a 40 inch vertical jump. That shows he has tremendous explosion. Weatherspoon is willing to play outside or inside in any scheme. And he was highly consistent at Missouri. At 6-1, 240 pounds, he could handle playing MIKE linebacker but he could gain an extra five pounds without losing any speed.

I totally agree. I'd love to have him, but we have much more pressing needs than upgrading an already very good weakside linebacker in Leroy Hill.

Finally, its DB day. My favorite! Berry and Haden are currently playing it out for the #6 spot in my mind. We have to go DB!

Haden runs a 4.58 and 4.60. Hello, Eric Berry!

  13. Haden could very well fall out of the top 10. No one is going to take a corner that high with questionable speed.

I doubt he falls out of the top 10. He's easily the best corner in this draft. I saw him run and it looks like he just isn't a track guy. Deion Sanders is commenting on how Haden looked uncomfortable in his stance and how his stance was poor. I would guess Haden runs much better at his pro day after they fix his stance and start.

I wouldn't say he has "questionable speed", his tape shows he can run with most guys.

However, no GM will take a corner in the top 10 unless they think he can match up with the best receivers in the game - the Calvin Johnsons, Andre Johnsons and Larry Fitzgeralds. A 4.6 might make the GMs doubt whether he can run with these guys, let alone deep threats like DeSean Jackson and Steve Smith.

I think he fell out of the top 10, but will still be the first corner off the board. (maybe 13 to SF?)

I doubt he goes top 10.

Like I said, I bet Haden runs much better at his pro day. I think nothing really changes with his draft status.
