Ed Garland has been hired to represent the interests of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the sexual assault investigation that became public on Friday, according to Mike Florio, editor of PFT and a Sporting News contributor. When Ray Lewis was accused of murder, the Ravens linebacker hired Garland to defend him. Roethlisberger has not been charged with any crimes as of this point. Source: The Sporting News

Absolutely agree. This is the equivalent of OJ hiring Johnny Cochran back in the day. This move suggests that this case isn't just some hussy looking for an athlete pay day. You only hire Garland if you are in some serious crap.
