1. St. Louis- Sam Bradford- They get their franchise QB here 2. Detroit- Russell Okung- Stafford got killed last year, the get a stud LT here that can protect him for the next 10 years 3. Tampa Bay- Ndamukong Suh- If they are gonna keep playing that cover 2 they have to improve the line, starts here with Suh 4. Washington- Gerald Mccoy- He'll help them with the transition to the 3-4 as a 5 technique. They'll consider Clausen and Bulaga because they need a tackle but settle on Mccoy 5. Kansas City- Eric Berry- Gives them a versatile playmaker, future pro bowler and one of the safest picks in this entire draft. 6. Seattle- Jimmy Clausen- Carroll gets his franchise signal caller, Hassleback can act as a bridge until he's ready. 7. Cleveland- Joe Haden- 40 time aside he's still a very good corner, i think his technique was off and will run better on his pro-day 8. Oakland- Bruce Campbell- No explanation needed 9. Buffalo- Bryan Bulaga- Desperately need a tackle 10. Jacksonville- Dez Bryant- Dream scenerio for them, him and MSW will make a dangerous combo 11. Denver- Rolando Mcclain- Denver continues they're plan to get more physical 12. Miami-Earl Thomas- Bit of a reach but this team has swung and missed in centerfield for a while, they get it right here 13. San Fransico- Trent Willliams- RT tackle finally addressed 14. Seattle- Derrick Morgan- Seahawks hope he helps them finally get to the QB consistently 15. New York G- Dan Williams- Position of need and a good fit, they need to get consistency out of that spot 16- Tennesee- Kyle Wilson- A bit high but def. a need, Wilson is another cant miss guy imo, him and finnegan will make a very good duo and as physical as they come 17- San Fransico- CJ Spiller- Gives them a versatile playmaker to take pressure off whoever the QB is gonna be. They also really need a returner so they use him they're too. 18. Pittsburgh- Mike Iupati- Nice upgrade at the guard spot for Pitt., tho a little high for a guard 19. Atlanta- Sean Weatherspoon- Another cant miss guy, this defense still needs playmakers 20. Houston- Brian Price- He'll be a nice fit beside Okoye, this defense is rounding into shape, theyll get a corner or 2 later 21. Cincinatti- Jermaine Gresham- The Bengals finally get their TE, Tate is a possibility but i think Ocho, Bryant and Caldwell is enough not to take a WR in the 1st. 22. New England- Brandon Graham- This pick just makes too much sense imo 23. Green Bay- Anthony Davis- Has some work ethic questions now but GB wont let him slip any farther 24. Philadelphia- Carlos Dunlap- Boom or Bust, Philly has never been shy about taking chances 25- Baltimore- Jared Odrick- Young, active, 3-4 DE, fills a huge need 26. Arizona- Sergio Kindle- They need some fresh legs coming off the edge, If Cody Brown can show something thats a nice young pair. 27. Dallas- Charles Brown- Flozell cant play forever, the unit as a whole got beat up by Minnesota, time for a upgrade. 28. San Diego- Ryan Matthews- Complete back, will hit the hole hard and quickly, something LT didnt bring last year 29. New York J- Golden Tate- Gives them another weapon, and depth in the return game 30. Minnesota- Maurkice Pouncey- A week after they beat up the Dallas o-line, they gotta beat up by the New Orleans d-line, not nearly as much but it should be a bit of a concern 31. Indianapolis- Jason Pierre Paul- With Freeney and Mathis contracts coming up and not enough depth behind them JPP will spell them and be a contigency plan if one leaves. 32. New Orleans- Jerry Hughes- With Grant gone the Saints get another edge rusher here Round 2 1. St. Louis- Everson Griffen 2. Detroit- Taylor Mays 3. Tampa Bay- Arrelious Benn 4. Kansas City-Ricky Sapp 5. Washington-Vladimir Ducasse 6. Cleveland-Colt Mccoy 7. Oakland-Geno Atkins 8. Seattle-Damian Williams 9. Buffalo-Terrance Cody 10. Tampa Bay- Cory Wooton 11. Miami-Mardy Gilyard 12. New England-Koa Misi 13. Denver-Demaryius Thomas 14. NY Giants-Brandon Spikes 15. New England-Tyson Alualu 16. Carolina-Brandon Lafell 17. San Fransico-Devin Mccourty 18. Kansas City-Roger Saffold 19. Houston-Brandon Ghee 20. Pittsburgh-Jahvid Best 21. New England-Rob Gronkoski 22. Cincinatti-Nate Allen 23. Philadelphia-Navorro Bowman 24. Green Bay-Kareem Jackson 25. Baltimore-Patrick Robinson 26. Arizona-Daryl Washington 27. Dallas-Major Wright 28. San Diego-Cam Thomas 29. NY Jets-Jerome Murphy 30. Minnesota-Lamar Houston 31. Indianapolis-Jon Asamoah 32. New Orleans-Morgan Burnett
Pretty decent mock draft....the pick that stood out to me was Cincy taking Gresham. They just drafted Coffman last year.
ew, heck both those picks weatherspoon, graham, pouncey>iupati allen, robinson, thomas and murphy>best
Could easily see that Eagles pick happening. They love DEs and they love players from the state of Florida. I'd much rather see them go with Hughes or even Kindle.
My take.. 4. Jimmy Clausen (oR Bruce Campbell) 5. Bryan Bulaga 6. Gerald McCoy 7. Eric Berry 8. Taylor Mays (oR Bruce Campbell) (I don't think Al Davis will BiTE on Bruce Campbell.) 9. Trent Williams 11. Dan Williams 12. Jason Pierre-Paul 13. Joe Haden 14. Bruce Campbell 15. Derrick Morgan 16. Everson Griffen 18. Rolando McClain (I got you K TRAiN) :) 20. Kyle Wilson 21. Carlos Dunlap 22. Jared Odrick 23. Charles Brown (Green Bay loves them some TROJANS!) 24. Earl Thomas 25. Jermaine Gresham 26. Jerry Hughes 27. Mike Iupati 29. Damian Williams (Mark Sanchez will lobby for D-WiLL) 30. Brian Price 31. Maurkice Pouncey 32. Brandon Graham i'm not trying to "Derail" your thread. Just giving you my opinion. (Your second round is str8.. other than Jahvid Best falling to the Steelers..)
Appreciate all the feedback thus far, with 40 something days till the draft obviously things will change but this is my assessment of it at the current time
Dan Williams is a DT, and IMO you need a DT more than a MLB right now, unless you are talking Rolando McClain
