The Oakland Raiders have been busy evaluating potential candidates for the Quaterback position. From Donovan McNabb all the way down to Sage Rosenfels, Al Davis has had enough of JaMarcus Russell and he isn't bluffing. Last week, they worked out Oregon State's Sean Canfield in Carlsbad, California. Now, reports indicate that they will take a look at Tennessee quarterback Jonathan Crompton. As a member of the Volunteers, Crompton tossed for 4,187 yards, 36 touchdowns and 22 interceptions. This is GoOd news if you're a Raider fan because the era of JaMEATsauce is now coming to a close! :icon_cheesygrin: (I have some INFO on the Donovan McNabb trade but my Source isn't sure if the details of the trade are final. Just waiting for him to call me back) Stay tuned.
I'm sorry, I can't believe anything positive about Crompton after how horribly he played against us (UAB) in 08, we had one of the worst defenses in the nation and he managed to turn the ball over thrice.
I think Lane did a damn good job on Crompton the time he was in TN...from the worst QB I have ever seen, to very respectable by the end of the season. And YES, I do think LK had a lot to do with that turnaround. I hope he doesn't go to the Raiders, that team is the burial ground for good players as long as the Crypt Keeper is alive with his hand in the running of that franchise.
I like Crompton, i just think its gonna take him a while....in 3 years you could have a steal **********Automerged Doublepost********** Skelton intrigues me, he has a rocket arm but he's also pretty accurate from what i've seen, gotta find some more scouting reports on him
I think Wikipedia has it wrong. I'm pretty sure his middle name is Turnover. @JASON4RMLA: I really don't understand your views at all. If you consider him an upgrade over JaMarcus, then you've obviously not watched any Vols games.
