Albert Haynesworth Unlikely To Pay Back Bonus To Facilitate A Trade

Speculation has increased in the past few days that Albert Haynesworth might be willing to pay back part of the recent $21 million bonus he received in an effort to help facilitate his exit from Washington, which two people in the organization said he would welcome because of Coach Mike Shanahan's plans to use him as a nose tackle in the team's new 3-4 scheme. But Jason Reid of the Washington Post does not envision Haynesworth repaying any money to the Redskins, who are as eager to send him elsewhere as he is to leave, the sources said. If Haynesworth is not traded by the draft, he'll probably be with the Redskins for the season and Jason Reid reports that while his understanding is Haynesworth definitely would prefer to leave he doesn't expect him to pay the Redskins to do so.

What a freaking train wreck this has been. Funny how much this guy was defended last year from his contract to his mouth to his play from certain Skins fans (not only here and not all of them though).

...on the bright side he did help Orakpo and Carter put up beastly numbers last year.

The bad thing is, if he could just get his head out of his butt and support the new regime the Redskins could make a push for the playoffs next year.

What I don't get it he snitching about being a nose tackle in the 3-4 however he isn't going to be one he going to be an end in that system. Still trade his butt out of Washington

He was misused in Washington. It was there fault for yet again pounding a square peg into a round hole. He has the size of a block occupier, but he is a gap penetrator. Asking him to be a just a pile pusher is asking him to whip out his lighter and burn $100,000,000

Lol. Asking him to pay back the bonus. That's hilarious.
