Jets Acquire Steelers WR Santonio Holmes For A 5th Round Pick

Apparently tired of Santonio Holmes' history of off-field problems, the Pittsburgh Steelers have traded the wide receiver to the New York Jets, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Bob Glauber of New York Newsday reports that the Jets sent the Steelers a 5th round pick in 2010 as compensation. Holmes is being investigated by Orlando, Fla. police for allegedly throwing a drink at a woman and according to Pro Football Talk is also facing an unrelated four-game suspension from the NFL for violating the substance-abuse policy.
