Ben Roethlisberger Will Accept Disciplinary Action If Not "Too Harsh"

Discussion in 'Pittsburgh Steelers' started by BigBlueBruiser, Apr 19, 2010.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will accept disciplinary action by the NFL or the Steelers without fighting the penalty if he and his advisers do not consider the discipline "too harsh," a source familiar with the situation said Monday. That disciplinary action perhaps could be announced in the coming days. The source close to the deliberations said he believes an announcement could be made Wednesday.

This hecker shouldn't make a peep since whatever Goodell hands out it won't include jailtime.

How ironic it would be for him to tell Goodell "No, this is not ok."

could you imagine if you got thrown in jail just because you got accused of sexual assault?

he didnt get charged with anything. and i am sure he was in the "wrong" which is very vague but i guarantee there was no rape involved...no one really ever said there was. someone says sexual assault and everyone who doesnt like him (because, yes he is a douchebag) just starts calling him a rapist

It clearly says in the report that he had s*x with her despite her protestations...how the heck is that not rape? I realize that that is far from hard evidence that he actually raped her (which is why this case went nowhere, it's all he said she said), but someone (the alleged victim) CLEARLY claims she was raped.
