As Ben Roethlisberger awaits word on his probable suspension, the Pittsburgh Steelers have traded for another quarterback who could wind up starting on opening day. The Steelers acquired their former quarterback Byron Leftwich from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a seventh-round pick in this week's draft, according to a team source. Leftwich could well be the Steelers' starter in their regular-season opener. Source: Adam Schefter, ESPN
Don't know , that seems like a tall order since he will be playing what I consider to be 3 of the top teams in the league (Atlanta, Tennessee, and Baltimore). Hopefully Ben is only suspended 2 games and Byron can win one of the 2 against Atlanta or Tennessee. Either way if Ben is suspended 4 games 2-2 would be fine by me.
Smart move by the Steelers right here. You got no idea what the commish is gonna do with Big Ben why not just sign another QB to be safe. Like they did
