Though his perspective is different than, well, just about everyone, count Mark Cuban among those who don't like the NFL's new Thursday-Friday-Saturday format that competes more directly with the NBA playoffs. Cuban pointed out the NBA does not play games on the NCAA basketball championship. "I just don't think the NFL is playing themselves out to be a good partner," Cuban said, mentioning issues the NFL has sought the NBA's advice on copyright, collective bargaining and television issues. "You can't operate professional sports in a vacuum." Source: Dallas Morning News
I agree Thurs,Fri,Sat is dumb and Fri,Sat, Sun would make alot more sense but LOL at Cuban thinking the NBA means rod to the NFL and that his opinion means rod to anyone else.
The NFL is the big brother to all sports. And as you know the big brother can do anything he wants and can get away with it. But I enjoy this concept because I can watch the first 3 rounds cause I will be off work.
I would prefer the first two rounds being on Friday then the rest on Saturday (Basically last year's system but forward a day). I really hate having to wait another day for the second round.
Being on the west coast a lot of us hate the freaking idea because most people aren't even home when it starts, as it is Steve had to take 2 days off to do his draft thing for the site, sucks major ballies.
agreed, this is the first year in many that i will not be attending a draft party. bullcrap move by the nfl in an attempt to milk more tv money at the expense of the fans.
Without a doubt. Exactly the same crap being pulled off when they blocked all the Churches/Superdome Superbowl Parties.
