In addition to safety Darren Sharper's visit with the Jaguars, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter also mentioned that the Cowboys have some interest in the 13-year veteran, as well. The Dallas 3-4 scheme is predicated on pressure, and to play a pressure style of defense at the NFL level you must have a player at safety that can get over the top of vertical routes and allow corners to funnel receivers to the middle of the field. That is a must for the Cowboys.

I really hope we manage to snap this guy up after his visit. I'd hate to miss out on signing him as I think our main problem at the minute is our safety position.

Please please please go to the Cowboys!

Jerry Jones would be ra-tarded to not contact his agent and start some kind of dialogue just to see where they are contract wise with their demands.

Apparently if he doesn't sign with the Jags this week than it looks like we'll bring him in and sign him up.

Sharper mentioned he wanted to play for contenders... i wonder if hes using this visit to set the asking price... i think Jax can be playoff contenders at best..

I'd be very surprised if the Jaguars even got close to .500. We'll have another losing season and then it's ciao to Jacksonville and hello Los Angeles IMO.

AOA wont be ready to compete at FS for probably 2 years on a good team. bring in Sharper gives him the perfect timetable and mentor
