Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson admits that waiting for QB Brett Favre to make a decision on his future is somewhat frustrating, according to Dan Graziano, of NFLFanHouse.com. "Obviously, you wouldn't want to go through it," Jackson said. "I'm not sure any guy would want to be in this position year in and year out, but it's my situation and I've got to deal with it the best I can." Jackson also said he was upset initially when the team signed QB Brett Favre. However, Jackson added that he has learned a lot watching Favre. "I was bitter. I was mad," Jackson said. "But then once he got here, and I got a chance to be around him and see what kind of person he was, I felt a lot better. He helped me a lot. I learned so much just by watching him. I wouldn't go back and change things. Having a chance to play behind a guy of his caliber was just great. I've had other guys, veteran guys I've learned from, but nobody who's done what he's done."

Finally!!!! Someone realized that this dude thinks he is playing basketball out there, if he could make better decisions he would be okay but he wants to try and jump over everybody and throw it.

The best thing the Vikes could do is have Favre come back! I don't think Jackson has a shot in hell of ever becoming their starting QB...barring a Favre injury. Some guys got it and some guys don't...Jackson doesn't!

He would be more frustrated, if Favre didn't come back and he became unemployed after week 4 bc his awful performance

i'm glad that he's saying he has learned a lot from favre because that's what he needed. he needed someone to show him that mental aspect of the qb position.

I think it's pretty obvious that Favre is coming back...lol...

Just worry about yourself and the things you can control T-Jack.

i agree 86. the fact that he hasn't officially 'retired' as he has done the past few off-seasons pretty much guarantees he's playing again in 2010. OR, could it be reverse psychology and when he usually 'retires', it actually means he's still playing and when he doesn't 'retire' after the season, it actually means he's not playing ????

    i'm confused now ....................... :icon_confused:
