Free-agent defensive tackle Chris Hovan has agreed to a contract with the St. Louis Rams, giving them some depth on the interior of a line that was a problem spot a year ago. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer will join the Rams, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, giving them a veteran presence in the middle for Steve Spagnuolo's defense. The 32-year-old Hovan spent the last five seasons with the Bucs and missed only two games over that span. Hovan was also a model of durability in his first five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. He credited ex-Bucs defensive line coach Rod Marinelli with helping turn around his career in Tampa after he flamed out in Minnesota.

Missing out on Suh & Clausen and taking Bradford instead is going to be one of those things we'll look back on in ten years and think....wow, they hecked up big time there.

    Hope I'm wrong though.

oh yeah...not only should clausen have gone over bradford at #1 cause hes the better QB but suh should have gone #1 cause he was the best player. having a chance to get both could have catapulted the rams right back to relevance.

  7. Are you serious?

Most guys on here, along with me, agree with that. Bradford is the result of the hype machine that was born out of all-american talent surrounding him rather than his own merits, amongst over reasons.

  9. I'm not the biggest Bradford fan but i do think he was and is better than Clausen.

well, we will see. There were 4 big name QB's in this draft (Tebow, McCoy, Claussen, and Bradford). The Rams had to draft one of them and they chose Bradford. Only time will tell which one of these 4 is best.

Hell, for all we know, all 4 could bust and the best QB in this class could be someone not being talked about......................
