WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.

This had better be the biggest work in WWE history, cause otherwise, EPIC FAIL on every level possible

If this is true, they are even stupider than I thought they were. The kid is an amazing talent.

This has to be an angle after the NXT beatdown on Cena on Monday, right? I sure hope so.....

No announcement on the WWE Corporate website about his release, where usually stuff like this is announced at the same time as on WWE.com.

If it's legit, one theory is that him choking out Justin Roberts broke "TVPG" and is being the scapegoat for giving ammo to opposition to Linda McMahon's Senate run.

I read that too. I lean more towards the belief that he realized WWE was never going to use him for anymore more than low card matches

They're WWE, the prefer Big men

Well there was an interesting article I saw that went against that, in that WWE was going to give smaller guys like Danielson and Gabriel increased air time in order to aid the Cena-Backed push of Evan Bourne.

Your one is a hell of a lot more likely tho :icon_sad:

I believe i read the same article and I was thrilled. Evan Bourne is just as exciting to watch as Rey Mysterio, if he can get a push, anyone can get a push.

With politics involved, it obviously took Cena pushing Bourne to get a shot.

I dont think people like Bryan cause of his indy credits. And no one wants to be upstaged, his in ring skills are superior to almost everyone elses in the 'E'

Read somewhere that his profile still hasn't been taken off WWE.com, and that this is going to be a work.

I'm hoping this is the case. The lack of news on the corporate site would back this up also.

All signs point to Bryan being fired for choking out the ring announcer with his tie. But thats only that the internet pages are reporting. Its possible they're all being feed the same pile of crap

I noticed one of the more reliable sites (PWMania) isn't reporting this story at all, and the WWE corporate site is still not reporting the fact that he's been kicked from the company.

Either way, the WWE has kicked the IWC hornet's nest and this weeks RAW is certainly going to get a big boost in ratings.

I am just hoping this NXT angle doesn't end with the WWE just feeding all the rookies to Cena. Which.....I have a feeling will happen.

Word on LordsOfPain.net is that Danielson was fired for choking Justin Roberts with his tie and that not being "PG" enough. Word is the WWE has indeed let him go but hope to bring him back when this blows over.

    Ugh....
