Oh well how many does kobe have now

  8. Five. And his first back to back titles without Shaq.

Kobe is now tied with Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most championship rings in Laker history.

yeah back to back without shaq but he had gasol there odom artest bynum fisher pretty much and allstar squad so dont make it look like he deserves all the credit.

  10. Yeah...forgot about Fish...Magic & Kareem immediately came to mind.

Not making it look like Bryant deserved all the credit, just pointing out a little factoid...

Take the sand out of your mangiana and chill out...

    A) Why does everyone always snitch about officiating when talking about "the team I was supporting lost :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:("

    B) The refs were crapty all game, to both teams.

Who cares who Kobe has.. on his team. He's never won the championship by himself. Him and Shaq wouldnt have even been to the Finals the times they won it had it not been for other players... People get caught up so much in this " Oh he's like MJ " -- " FREAK KOBE MJ IS THE GREATEST OF ALLL BWAHAHAH " ... that they don't realize no matter how great someone is, it's the role players that have the biggest key to a championship team. Without fishers .04 second shot, the Lakers dont make the finals. Without Horry's big 3's... we don't make the Finals a couple times. This year it was Artest against PHX with the Kobe airball, would we have lost the series? who knows, but we'd of been down in the series had to come back.. then against Boston, Game 3... who won it for us? Fisher in the 4th. Game 6 the bench came to life and raped, and game 7, Ron Artest.. regardless of how bad he shot, he just kept doing what made him famous, what gave him the good enough reputation for us to sign him, and thats play raping D, get steals, and then he contributed on the offensive side. So regardless of how many Kobe has, how many MJ has, how many whoever has.. if MJ didn't have Kerr, Pippen, Kukoc, Longley, etc etc.. he wouldn't have won Championships. Look at the Cavs.. " Lebron Lebron Lebron " do they have role players? Yes they do.. they just don't show up when it matters the most, everything is depended upon 1 man down the stretch. Just a lot of things came into play this year, the role players Kobe needs to win Championships were there, and he trusted each of them as he's learned to do.

Huge ups to Ron's D, Fisher's Clutchness of big shots, The Machine [Sasha] at the FT line, Gasol Manning up and doing what he needed to do, Odom for taking the 6th man spot to play for championships, and Bynum for playing when he could have easily shut it down and already had his knee fixed, and in the healing process by now. Shannon Brown for dunking on dunkers, Adam Morrison for making 5.2 million to sit on the bench in a suit and tie, looking like Satan. Farmar for being able to stay infront of Nate Robinson. Mbenga, Powell, and Walton for being there to eat up minutes. And Kobe for doin' work.

NBA has a limited fanbase to begin with. Here, most of the drunkards who riot and beat people unconscious (after a win, mind you) don't even care about the team if they weren't in the finals. That's why even in a town that is among the most populated in the country, you will have a measly 100,000+ at the "parade". There are is a select few who LOVE the lakers out here, but most people really could care less and use it as an excuse to get drunk and cause problems. This city and area (LA) is one of the most lax fanbases around which is why, even on the news, they said before game 7, "Isn't it a surprise that fans are actually showing up early to a game?" because people out here for the most part could care less about sports in general and if the team isn't winning, you can forget about it.

I said that they were "stone walled". meaning they hit a wall on shots and no1 would step up and take over the game.

but the breaks did go the lakers way. not that i like it. i know thats what happens. just pissed no1 on boston pushed there way thru the wall.
