I think Hart's biggest case for enshrinement is that he led a Cardinals franchise, that had a history of losing, to three straight 10+ win seasons from 1974-1976 and back-to-back divisional titles in 1975 & 1976. That was probably their best period until Kurt Warner became the Cardinals starting QB in the mid 2000's. I was torn on Hart and came close to nominating him on a couple of occasions but had to go with Dave Krieg with my final nomination. If there was anyone on that list I would replace and put Hart in...it would be Jim Plunkett. Plunkett's biggest case is that he won two Super Bowls with the Raiders and is the only QB with multiple rings not in the HOF. But his numbers weren't that eye-popping....as well as Hart's. Plunkett was never an elite passer and was more of a game-manager.
