QB Tim Tebow Likely To Be Under Contract By The End Of The Weekend

  1. Denver Broncos first round pick QB Tim Tebow, who played at Florida, should be signed by the end of next weekend. Negotiating are rumored to be a five-year contract that figures to be worth about $12 million with roughly $8 million guaranteed. There is a chance his deal could be done before the first rookie practice Wednesday afternoon. It would be a surprise if negotiations last past Sunday morning. Tebow is competing to be the second string QB behind starter Kyle Orton with former first round choice Brady Quinn.
