Tim Tebow Feels He Deserves More Money Than His Draft Slot

According to Ed Werder of ESPN.com, the Broncos and the agent for Tim Tebow have "feverishly"working to complete contract negotiations. According to one source, progress has beern made and the deal should be finalized in the next 24-48 hours. Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels called Tebow when the quarterback failed to sign in time for the official beginning of training camp, which began with a meeting Wednesday morning. McDaniels reminded Tebow that he is losing repetitions that he can never regain and needs them more than the veteran players against whom he will be competing. One sticking point in the negotiations is the contract signed by No.24 pick Dez Bryant.. who is already in camp, Tebow's agent Jimmy Sexton expects the Broncos to pay the "customary quarterback premium", which would mean the 25th pick would make more than the 24th and Tebow's agent is also seeking more guaranteed money in a signing bonus.

um, i think the broncos are mostly to blame for this. they have been hyping him up all during the off-season in the hopes of selling tickets....... of course tebow's agent is going to take advantage of this ....... that's why he hired an agent .......

I liked when he walked on water at mini camp. That was awesome.

 

But he crossed the line when he turned that water into wine. He shouldn't be drinking on the job. Everyone saw what happened with JaMarcus Russell and his drinking problem.
