Redskins WR Joey Galloway Starting Over Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly

Discussion in 'Washington Redskins' started by adammwilson, Jul 29, 2010.

  1. The Washington Redskins have made Joey Galloway, 38, as their starting WR opposite Santana Moss. Galloway was a first round pick in 1995 and has been a four time Pro Bowler in his career. He played last season with the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. Malcolm Kelly, a former second round pick, has been disappointing in his short career and may be cut. Devin Thomas, also a former second round pick who started 10 games last year, has allegedly gotten off to a poor start with Mike Shanahan and his staff.

Vincent Jackson's gotta be on the radar...it's ashame Kelly got hurt...that's one less WR they could send to the Chargers...

Joey Galloway is much too old to start at anything but QB and K.

Thomas will be fine, I HIGHLY doubt Kelly will be cut. I would expect things to change by week 1.

They're all terrible under Jim Zorn. Under Mike Shanahan, they may be better.
