Broncos LB Elvis Dumervil Will Miss At Least 4 Months With Injury

NFL Network is among those reporting that Broncos LB Elvis Dumervil has suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will miss at least four months. Dumervil had the injury during a one-on-one drill in camp on Aug. 4. The team might opt to put him on injured reserve, ending his season. The team will look to Jarvis Moss, among others, to replace Dumervil in the starting lineup. Dumervil had 17 of the Broncos' 39 sacks in 2009 -- no one else on the team had more than five.

Looking like even with the holdouts, the division is probably still the Chargers to lose.

What are you talking about? They are that bad. Now the only player on defense that is worth a damn is lost for a lengthy amount of time.

jarvis moss will put up double digit sacks and they will realize how stupid it was to break the bank open for a one trick pony OLB because now they have to live without him, pay him, and i bet get similar production from the replacement (unless its ayers because ayers sucks)

Still have a solid offense. Kyle Orton has won his entire career. Solid running game. Eddie Royal is explosive. Great offensive line. Moss will be able to get some sacks. Justin Bannan is a very good 3-4 lineman. Champ Bailey still in the secondary.

They aren't a playoff team but they aren't even close to the worst.

Sucks for anyone to get seriously injured but it's not a terrible thing for a Chiefs fan.

It's still Jason Campbell at quarterback.

Eh. Jason Campbell isn't a huge upgrade over anyone. Average QB on an average team with average WR's.

Raiders will be better then they have been, but I think expectations of winning the division would bring alot of disappointment to Raiders fans.
