same here i didn't see it bc i had being turn off by Silvas antics and i find out that Silva basically gets owned for four rounds and then submits sonnen...............damn it
Yeah it was a goodun for sure. Big Roy has a pretty amazing chin, and Sonnen's no joke man, he backed up all that crap-talking leading up to the fight and then some. Silva looked super under-prepared and out of shape, he basically got his butt handed to him for 13 minutes of a 15 minute fight and won lol.
this was a good fight, i was already counting Silva out, he was struggling on the ground the whole match and then he comes out of nowhere and puts the triangle on Sonnen
I did steal this PPV on the internet. It was a Championship match for 5 rounds at 5 minutes each. Silva started each round agressive and Sonnen wanted no parts of him standing up. Silva spent about 18 minutes on his back getting his butt kicked through the first four rounds. Silva took countless head shots during the enduring ground and pound. I thought there was no way Silva wins this fight. Between the first two minutes of round five Silva clamped on the triangle, which he had been trying to do for awhile, and Sonnen tapped his body to tap out. Was a great fight. One of the best I've seen.
