Rams Say QB A.J. Feeley Still Ahead Of Sam Bradford On Depth Chart

Rams QB Sam Bradford, the top pick of the 2010 draft, will make his first NFL start in St. Louis' next preseason game ... but coach Steve Spagnuolo insists the rookie has not supplanted veteran A.J. Feeley atop the team's depth chart. "A.J.'s the starter right now; Sam's the backup," Spagnuolo said Monday. "A.J. has a little better command of the offense. If you based it on two games, A.J.'s been able to move the football team when he's been in there. That's really what we want." "Sam has a little bit of a ways to go in that. But at some point, if we feel the guy that is behind the starter can do a better job, to me, that's when you make the move. I don't know if that'll be next week. If it'll be three weeks. If it'll be four weeks. Sam still has a lot of things (to learn)."

Well Rams fans, have fun sucking butt this year. Feeley's going down, and Bradford's gonna get shellacked with the crappy OL you guys have.

I think if you are that bad. Why not just let the kid sit for a year until you have a decent OL. AS a texans fan who saw a qb ruined by a crappy OL. I don't wanna see Bradford turned into the new Carr.

A bad OL can screw a QB up. It seemed like All the hits he took in Houston made him forget how to let go of the ball. Just look at his numbers in Carolina. I remember a game where he ran the ball at the stupidest times. I'm not busting on David Carr, but I think all the hits gave him brain damage. The Rams need to study what happened to Carr and use the knowledge to keep that from happening to Bradford. Get Carolina's OL coach. He's part of the reason the Panthers' running game is so good. I agree with the idea of letting Bradford sit a year, but at least make him sit behind someone, anyone, but Feeley. Culpepper's still around, right?

Dude i totally got into a discussion with a friend the other day on how carr would have been awesome if he had an O-line..

To be on topic now...i think that feeley could have an OK year..and bradford is nowhere near ready.
