It's official: Javon Walker is a Minnesota Viking. The team announced late Tuesday morning it has signed Walker, who worked out for the team on Friday, and released running back Ryan Moats. It remains to be seen whether Walker, 31, will make the roster, much less an impact. He hasn't been productive since 2006, played in only three games last season with Oakland and has battled knee problems for years. Moats seemed to have a chance to make the roster when he signed in June. But he looked sluggish throughout training camp and never rose from the bottom of the depth chart.
