seriously - the league has to do something about the umpires. this crap happens too much in baseball. not the tossing of players but umps baiting players/coaches and then tossing them.

Pathetic. That play at third on Francisco was just ridiculous. This guys are making little league errors. Manuel should sit these buttholes in fornt of ESPN all day to watch the little league world series. It looked like everyone was looking to hit a home run instead of just manufacturing runs with a hit.

This team is waaaay out of sync and they need to figure out a way to gel and get this team back on track...

dude, they have only lost 8 times in the last 32 at home, yeah they have lost 3 in a row, but heading into this series they were doing just fine. braves, cardinals and giants lose too, could have picked up ground, but we could have lost ground, Braves blew a 10-1 lead to Colorado. that's funny.

 

True, but I'm a glass half empty kind of guy since we aren't ahead. The lack of fundamentals and clutch hitting has been frustrating.

 

the offense is slumping again and has been for a couple weeks. actually it's been well below where it should be all year. it's a concern. thankfully the starting pitching has been tremendous or this team could be 6 out right now. but they aren't and there is still enough time to right the ship.

i still think the season may come down to the final series in atlanta.

How can they let their own minor league club sweep them four games at home? They are playing like they're sleepwalking. They need to wake up soon because they are about to be ousted from the wild card spot.

Only lost .5 game, but with the recent play, it looks like it's going to get worse before it gets better. They're so lucky they aren't 5 or 6 out by now...
