Denver Broncos running back LenDale White has a torn Achilles' tendon and will miss the 2010 season, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The Broncos signed White in early August, despite his four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy, after losing both Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter to injuries before the pre-season opener. White did not play in the first two games, but started the third game and had 53 yards on 17 carries with a pair of touchdowns before he was injured in the second quarter of last night's pre-season finale. White told the Denver Post last night that he planned to stick around the team. "I'm going to be around; I'm a Bronco," White said. "I'm going to do everything I can until (NFL commissioner) Roger Goodell says I can't. I'm pretty sure I can be around." White's impending surgery, rehab, and playing status for 2010 should clarify how often he can be at the team's facility during his suspension.

This will make it alot easier to serve a 4 game suspension.
