New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw has leap-frogged 6-4, 265-pound Brandon Jacobs as the starter and featured runner in the team's rotation, which isn't sitting well with Jacobs. "It's almost hard to stay positive in a situation like this, but that's what I've got to do," Jacobs said, according to Jane McManus of ESPNNewYork.com. Jacobs said the team hasn't spoken to him about his reduced role. After posting back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, Jacobs ran for 835 yards on a career-high 224 carries (3.7 avg) with 5 touchdowns in the first season of a four-year, $25 million contract extension, which Jacobs thinks has increased the spotlight on him. "If I would have stayed making minimum, this wouldn't be a problem," Jacobs said. "Once you get paid, you're always in danger of running into problems like this. It doesn't matter who you are or what team or organization you play for, that's just the way it is." $1.5 million of Jacobs' $3.5 million base salary this season is guaranteed. Teams still have to respect his size.....after watching last nights game....he would be good as a decoy as well as a closer. Bradshaw is a beast and could lead the NFC East in rushing this season.

IMO, Bradshaw is the best back in the NFL, He even played last year witha broken foot. As a Falcon Fan I would trade Turner, and a Few others for Him!
Whatever you are smoking I want some!!! Bradshaw is a very serviceable back.(and a good one at that) But...... Calling him the best in the NFL is crazy. LOL So you would take Bradshaw over AP? Or Chris Johnson? Crap son... I wouldn't take Bradshaw over Felix Jones...
If Bradshaw got 100% of the carries like Ap and Cj, He would easily have more yards than both. Man, Doubting Bradshaw, The Dude is a Faster Ap running brother over, too!
WOW!! It is a good thing you aren't a GM in the NFL. I am not saying Bradshaw is garbage or anything, cause honestly, I think he is a really good RB. But to think he is better than AP or CJ? I am willing to bet even the most DIEHARD Giants fans would disagree with you.
Bradshaw has all the tools, plus he doesnt Fumble every 4 carries! Anyway, the Giants are a two back team whether Bradshaw starts, or not! So unless, Jacobs and Ware(both) go down for the count we will never get to see it. IMO, they are three all tool ((Awesome)) backs in the leg. and Bradshaw is one of them. I am so Glad, he is Starting, but the , Skins, Eagles, and Boys arent to happy about it
Honestly, it doesn't matter who starts on the Giants. The way the Giants play is whoever is hot during the game gets the most touches. So who starts has little to do with our division being scared. LOL I just can't get over how you think Bradshaw is better than AP or CJ. It just blows my mind.
I can see where Jacobs wouldnt be happy. But then he needs to understand that the team will probabbly do better with him as a back up
