Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams said he will use a derogatory comment about him by Michael Irvin as a motivational tool for this season according to Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News. Irvin, a Hall of Fame wide receiver with the Cowboys, told the NFL channel's Total Access show that his former team is playing ``10 vs. 11'' when Williams is on the field. Irvin openly lobbied for rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant to get playing time in Williams' place. ``That lit my fire,'' Williams said on Friday. ``It just lit me up. ... That got me going.'' Williams said he holds no animosity toward to Irvin and would welcome him into his home.

Watch him have a good week one, and watch Michael Irvin try to take credit for it.

I think you are on to something.. I think I am gonna start him this week just to see what happens. I mean after all.. It is between Roy and Dez, and I don't think Dez will do a whole lot this week.

Yeah, I have Dez Bryant, but I'm benching him until I see something first. Hopefully he turns into something.
