exactly. none of us expected greatness from the raiders O but on defense, i would put them up against any other defense talent-wise. very disappointing indeed.
i wouldnt say they ran all over us, we were taking care of johnson all game until he broke for a 70 yard run the defense got tired the O couldnt convert a third down to save their life. im chalking this up chemistry on offense and a lack of execution the plays were there to be had oh and atrocious o-line play who couldnt protect campbell at all the silver lining here is that McFadden proved he could run the ball and catch it he needs to become the focal point in the offense. 95 yds rushing on 18 carries 6 catches for 55 yads 1 td thats your silver lining
good point. mcfadden did look like he can carry the load. although it's not a silver lining, the 'hope' at this point for raider nation is that this defense gels quickly and starts playing to its' potential, which is a huge potential. that's the only way they are going to win any games this year. their defense needs to step up big time from what they showed yesterday.
