Based on local television ratings, the Buffalo Bills are kings of the viewing marketplace on an NFL Sunday afternoon in western New York but the rest of the country, however, has no interest in watching them. So say the sports programmers at the NFL's two major network partners, CBS and Fox. That's why Bills games are shown in very few parts of the country, even when they're playing one of the NFL's most popular teams. This afternoon, the Bills and Green Bay Packers square off at Lambeau Field, but only CBS viewers in upstate New York and the Packers' marketplace of Wisconsin and southwestern Michigan and western Illinois will see the game. "It's been a long time since the Bills have had significant penetration on the national broadcast map," said John Kucko, sports director at both WROC-TV channel 8 (CBS) and WUHF-TV channel 31 (Fox). "The Bills don't have that national zip."

I was more or less agreeing with the story...However, it doesn't need to be a story as it's pretty much common knowledge...:icon_cheesygrin:...no offense to wide right.

  11. The man does have a Super Bowl ring and is a 5x George Young NFL Executive of the Year....one more than Young himself.

Can't argue with his track record. Polian wins wherever he goes.

No kidding. The only reason they were on last season was because T. O. was there.

CBS and FOX also announced that a touchdown is worth 6 points and when the QB hurls the ball in the air down-field, it is known as a forward pbutt.
