Wow...you really were butthurt huh. I don't really care what you think but the simple truth is I forgot all about it and when your in the PICU just after the holidays your time is VERY limited for things like GIF so if I was on while you were bumping it I didn't even realize. I often would only get 5 minutes every 3 or 4 days to browse hundred's of GIF posts from my phone. So yes had you PMd me I would have responded to the thread.

That crowd was really rocking in the first quarter. But, in the fourth quarter, I saw a lot of fans that looked a lot like empty seats. I wonder why. Hmmmm.

It was nice that the offense was rolling with Austin only getting two catches

Bennetts also starting to earn his paycheck

Well, it's one game against a bad Texans pass defense. Let's wait to say he's out of his funk until he does it against a better defense.

It was a good win. Really not much a difference offensively for us, I suppose more of a commitment to the rushing attack and Romo taking a couple shots down field. Romo was on point just like he'd been in the previous 2 games, Roy Williams was huge and Dez is just mister consistent out there. The biggest improvement offensively was the O-line, Romo was given plenty of time to drop back and make passes. I really didn't even notice Mario Williams out there. I'm still not pleased with our running game no questions have been answered there. And we took way too many penalties once again.

Brooking was putrid out there on the field, I know he got that big sack but this is the first game where he was so god **mn awful it was noticeable. I really don't see any reason in keeping him any longer. I know he's a good character guy or leader or whatever you wanna call it but he is a weakness out there and doesn't make many plays. If we don't release him outright we better have Lee or someone cutting his playing time into half. Brooking and James were overcommiting at times and not getting to the edges to stop the run those 2 were exposed and it showed. Secondary did a good job, Schaub had a ton of trouble reading the coverages.

I don't care what team we play on any given week, we need to show up cause losing games to inferior opponents is not cool and will ultimately lead to heads being rolled around here. We've played down to our opponents for almost as long as I can remember it would just be nice to play sound football, 60 minutes with less than say 4 or 5 flags nevermind 10+. It's not alot to ask considering some of the talent on this team.

Yeah the game was won in the trenches. That's what the Texans thought would give them the edge and they were shut down.

Free's gone up against Carter, Peppers an Williams who combined for 31 sacks last year, and heis yet to give one up

Safe to say we made the right desision regarding Adams

Brooking has been crap this year

If Lee is really the NFL ready LB everyone thinks he is, I want to see a switch as soon as he is healthy

Problem is Phillips doesnt have the balls

Brooking is broken down. Time to hand him a clipboard and headset and make him a coach.

One of the big problems is they are still playing him and James 3 downs. James is a great blitzer, but horrible in coverage, and at this point in his career, Brooking if he is going to be effective, needs to be limited. NLB doesnt play to his strengths anyways.

Jason Williams hasnt earned anything, but I would almost raher see him out there

If it comes down to it, I think Jerruh has to step in on this matter. Brooking was decent last year but now he's become a reliability. I don't care who we put in his place whether it's one of the Williams, or Lee or somebody that's not even on our roster the change has to be made.

Adams would have been nice to keep at say 2 mil a year.

reliability? I meant liability lol. still shaking the rust off.

Im still thinking we need to go with the young guns. Williams showed serious flash's of being a playmaker in preseason. Just too feast or famine. But at some point, you have to roll with him. Rather have him make a play, make a mistake, learn and get better then having Brooking getting beat over and over

I would definatly prefer Adams as the swing OT to Barron

I think Leon Williams is probably ahead of Jason Williams on the depth chart. But yeah I really wouldn't have a problem with any of the 3 backup MLB's steppin in and starting. all of them are faster than brooking. and all of them have room to grow as players. Leon Williams was a fairly big draft pick long before he was a browns a castoff.

IMO in perfect world, Leon is the true backup ILB, not so much a NLB.

Leon would be my choice if they were straight up benching Brooking. He looked like a future star until god knows what happened with his career. At this point, he is a better starter than either Lee or J-Will

I really wish J-Will would have been more consistant in Preseason. He looked like a monster at times, the type of dude an offense needs to account for. Just blew too many assignments

I think WR has been one of the few spots we have been consistently good at this year. All three of our WR's have been producing. Austin has been out of his mind. Dez has been solid all three of his first games, and Williams has been solid the first two games and took over today

WR's and Ware have been the only constant solid performance's over the first 3 games. Almost want to say run D too, but they got gashed today. First 100 yard rusher allowed in 29 games tho

    Agree with all you're points.

I still think Jason Williams will at the very least turn out to be a reliable situational player down the line or in the near future. He will answer the call should his phone ring so to speak.

Im still hoping for the Lee/Williams duo at ILB

Dont want to burn more picks on that spot. Wasnt too happy we burned one on Lee in the first place

But ideally, this two would compliment each other perfectly. Lee as the cerebral player, Williams as the playmaker
