After the Jets signed former Baltimore defensive lineman Trevor Pryce, Jets linebacker Bart Scott, a former Baltimore teammate, went so far as to proclaim that plenty of the Ravens would have loved to switch places with Pryce in a heartbeat. "I guarantee you that there's probably guys in the same spot right now jealous as hell," Scott said. "Trevor probably gets texts like, 'Man, come get me too.' I guarantee you there's at least 15 other players over there praying to God that they get released for a half a day too, so they can come over here." The 35-year-old Pryce, who as a vested veteran will receive the $2 million owed from the Ravens plus his salary from the one-year deal with the Jets, thrived for three seasons in Baltimore when Ryan was the defensive coordinator. He joked that the Jets playbook was eerily similar to the one he had in Baltimore. In other words, the transition should be seamless. Ryan admitted that Pryce, who had just one tackle in a diminished role with the Ravens in the first three games, will play on passing downs against the Bills. Source: NY Daily News
Of course they do. Jets players get to do whatever the heck they want. As has been noted, it's like a damn fraternity. They all probably get lap dances during team meetings. DUI and supposedly make the team look bad? Sit yo' butt on the bench for a QUARTER!
Name another player who got pulled over for a DUI and got any punishment at all. I'm not talking about an accident happening, or an injury, just a plain old DUI, which MANY players get. Name one who was ever punished.
It's sad that the Jets have to keep talking to remain relevant......they haven't done jack crap in over 40 years.
Alot of the things said above MAY have a little truth but you know what? They are winning some games so far. So J E T S Jets Jets Jets is all I'm sayin.
